Adding Adversaries to Ampliterra
So, you’ve picked up a copy of Ampliterra: Echoes of the Rift and are getting ready to set up your own cinematic, narrative-driven campaign in this vibrant and expansive world. Since Ampliterra is system-agnostic, you can pick whichever fantasy TTRPG rules system you like to populate the world’s diverse locales and run encounters. But maybe you’re looking for somewhere to start. so here are some examples of adversaries you can run from two of my favorite fantasy TTRPG systems, 5e and Daggerheart!
This table links to the 5.5e rules on DnDBeyond.com and the core Daggerheart rules on Demiplane. If you’re still using the 2014 5e rules, most of the stat blocks for these adversaries are on the website and have comparable (if not the same) CRs. As of this writing, Daggerheart is still fairly new, so adversaries are somewhat limited, but there’s more than enough to get started with!
This is just a starting point - Ampliterra is filled with even more diverse environments and can work beautifully with even more fantasy-themed TTRPGs like Pathfinder. What adversaries do you run in your version Ampliterra? Let me know!
